My Featured Image of the week.
I arrived early at Zabriskie Point at Death Valley National Park. The previous evening there had been a light dusting of snow on the mountains surrounding the park and rain in the park itself. I'd been here a number of times, but today, the colors of the surrounding bentonite clay hills, contrasted with the snow capped mountains, provided a sense of awe.
Even though there were dozens of other photographer here I was able to enjoy the beauty of the morning.
Nature is ever at work building and pulling down, creating and destroying, keeping everything whirling and flowing, allowing no rest but in rhythmical motion, chasing everything in endless song out of one beautiful form into another.
