Old Town Square at Night
I decided to take a walk through the square on my first visit to Prague, not knowing what to expect. What I found was a square alive with people, coming from restaurants, concerts or listening to the music playing at the square. The square was crowded and vibrant.
The Church of Our Lady before Týn Cathedral is a 14th-century gothic landmark with its 265 ft (80m) towers, topped by four small spires, dominates the Old Town Square. The towers of the cathedral are not symmetrical. One, Adam, is larger than the other, Eve. This representation of the masculine and feminine sides of the world is characteristic of Gothic architecture of the period.
