Naxos Town from the Portara by Night

I returned later the next day after my first visit to watch the town as night descends. I've always found that you can learn a lot about a town by its nightlife.

Naxos is a city and a former municipality on the island of Naxos, in the Cyclades, Greece. Naxos is also the name of the largest island of the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea, which has constituted a place of significance since the prehistoric era and, according to mythology, is where Zeus was raised.
